Here are some items that I wished to get in the future.
- Hitachi 7K500 500GB 7200rpm laptop harddisk to improve performance of my Macbook.
[27-Aug-2010] Bought it from Bell Systems @ $102. - Apple iPhone 4 32GB. After four years of not buying a phone, it’s time to upgrade when I can recontract on 27th August 2010. Budget $630 with 2 years contract + $35 for PowerSupport screen protector.
[30-Aug-2010] Bought it from Starhub at $515.
- Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM lens, for my first prime lens. Budget $500.
- Canon Speedlite 580EXII external flash, to complement my event-photography skills. Budget $700.
- LCD monitor upgrade of at least 24-inch with 1920×1200 resolution.
[22-Jan-2010] Bought Dell U2410 for $670 with 5 years warranty.
- External 3.5″ hard disk to keep my growing collections of photos and videos that are more than 300GB now. Best value for money seems to stand at 1.5TB now at about S$189. Western Digital MyBook Elite is the choice for now.
[12-Mar-2010] Bought Western Digital MyBook Elite 1.5TB at IT Show for $179.90. - Apple Wireless Keyboard at retail price of S$98.
[25-Feb-2010] Bought in from iStudio in 313@Somerset for $98.
- Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM lens. A new one costs $1,550 now. Second hand should be less than $1,200.
[10-Jul-09] Bought a second hand lens from my colleague who upgraded to full frame body. $1,100.
- Sandisk or Kingston 16GB SDHC Class 6 card for my camera.
[12-Mar-09] Bought Sandisk Ultra II SDHC 16GB before my Europe trip.
- Hard-drive upgrade for my Macbook of at least 320GB.
[14-Dec-2008] “Accidentally” bought Hitachi 320GB 5400rpm hard drive. - Canon dSLR, top of the list is Canon EOS 450D with 18-55mm kit lens (S$1100) + 55-250mm zoom lens ($459).
[19-Jan-2009] Before I went back to Jakarta for Chinese New Year, I bought Canon EOS 450D with 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 lens for $1,800.
- A new digital camera to bring for USA Trip in September. Considering Canon IXUS 860IS @ $545 with 1x4GB SD card and extra battery. Waiting for COMEX 2008 coming end of August to buy this camera.
[29-Aug-2008] Got it in COMEX for $519 for lots of freebies. After that [01-Sep-2008], I went to Alan Photo to get a second original Canon battery for $70. A 3rd party battery costs $20 but I decided to go for the original one instead.
- A portable harddisk, again for USA Trip. Having a laptop while travelling is great, but what’s more important is its backup, as if the hard drive crashed on my flight back, it’ll be a disaster to lose all photos taken during the whole trip. I consider this $100-$140 spent as insurance paid against data lost during my trip.
[29-Aug-2008] Bought Western Digital My Passport 320GB in COMEX for $149.90.
- Another 2GB of Kingston DDR2-RAM 667MHz SO-DIMM to add on top of the 2GB currently installed in my Macbook, to make it 4GB. It should be about $55 at Simlim.
[01-Sep-2008] I bought another 2GB from Bell Systems in Simlim for $51.
- Logitech V470 Bluetooth Laser Mouse for Notebooks @ $85 I think the last time I checked. What I really like about this mouse is it’s Bluetooth, so no need to use any USB port.
[12-Sep-2008] Bought two pieces of the mouse from eBay for a total of $85. I won a bid for a new one for $50.50, and a used one for $39.50.
- In-ear earphone (after I gave mine to my brother).
[14-Jun-2008] Bought Sony MDR-EX32LP @ $38.
- A new laptop for my mum (she’s in real need of an upgrade)
[08-Mar-2008] Bought her a Compaq Presario V3638 from IT Show 2008.
- A small laptop that I can carry around if needed (like once or twice a month only)
[April-2008] Decided to get a Macbook so I’ll have a laptop that I can carry when I travel.

ga tau seh ver, mangkanya itu the last item in my list, and kenapa juga sampe skr gua masih bertahan pake desktop, ga bisa justify beli laptop soalnya :p
