After work today, me and my colleagues went to The Cathay to catch the latest James Bond movie, Casino Royale, starring Daniel Craig as James Bond. The movie started at 6.30 pm, and as Cathay cinemas don’t show too many advertisements, the movie started promptly at 6.35 pm. It lasted for 145 minutes, we came out at 9 pm. The movie shows more human side of James Bond, not as some superman who can defeat his enemy so easily without effort. Overall the movie was quite good, though some parts of the movie was rather slow. The movie was heavily sponsored by Sony and Sony Ericsson. Phones spotted in the phone includes K800i, K700i, and M600. Digital camera used in the phone presumably was Sony Cybershot T10, and laptop used was of Sony Vaio brand.
If I can’t be James Bond, at least I can have his gadgets, which in this movie, there was only one, which is a Sony Ericsson K800i. It’s not the normal Black colour I’ve seen so many times in MRT, shopping malls, or cafes. It’s a Royale Silver color, limited edition, only for three months, and they said only available for Starhub mobile customers, and THAT was exactly what I bought few days back. After a couple of days of using this phone, I can say for sure, I’m very happy with it. No complaints from me, so far. Everything I ever wanted in a phone, this Sony Ericsson K800i Royale Silver provides me with it.
When I was in Starhub shop, I was looking at the black colour, and I thought, why not get the silver color, which no one has. I had to wait for two days before I could get the phone. The best features of this phone is arguably its 3.2MP camera. Please help yourself with the rest of its loaded features here. There are nice touches in this phone that made it a joy to use. SMS have many icons now, un-read, read, replied, forwarded, etc, so it’s easy to see which SMS I have replied and which I have not responded to. The screen is oh-so-wonderful, really, viewing photos on this phone is really a great experience. Connectivities, phone features, games, music players, photo management are excellent as well. It’s truly a complete phone for me.
Back to camera, as this is a first Cybershot-branded phone, I expected the results, the menu, the handling, the features at least match dedicated digital camera, and it didn’t dissapoint. It has many scenes that will help you take great pictures, from Auto to Night Shots to Document. You can take far away objects to macro. You can choose to use blitz, red-eye reduction, and it’s not those photo-light found in lower-end phones. It’s a proper blitz!!! Next, one that I didn’t expect, it has Image Stabilizer as well, though it never mentioned Optical so I suspected it’s just a Digital Image Stabilizer, but it’s a good to have nevertheless. Other camera features like White Balance, Timers, Picture Quality are all in as well. And I could go on and on. It’s that great, and I’m very happy with it. After all, I’m half-way James Bond now :p
